About Us

Summer-About Us

At Key to Amaze’s Summer Tech Enrichment Program, our goal is to spark curiosity and provide a foundational understanding of emerging technologies like Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain. Through a series of engaging, hands-on sessions over five days, we aim to inspire participants to explore these fields further. By creating a nurturing and imaginative environment, we are committed to encouraging young minds to think creatively, approach problems with a critical eye, and gain an appreciation for how technology can shape the future. This program is a stepping stone for participants, offering them a glimpse into the potential of these technologies and motivating them to pursue their interests beyond our week together.

Jonathan & William Ferraro

JONATHAN FERRARO

Jonathan Ferraro, a dedicated student at Wentworth Institute of Technology, is pursuing a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

 

Academically gifted and a virtuoso in the making, his musical journey—marked by excellence in clarinet—has led him to master instruments from saxophone to piano and guitar.

​

At 16, Jonathan expanded his skills beyond music into technology, becoming the resident technician at Key to Amaze. His hands-on experience spans from training staff and managing customer interactions to expertly assembling and maintaining the venue’s fleet of high-end gaming PCs, not to mention his adeptness at reviving Vive PRO headsets and controllers.

 

Jonathan’s role at Key to Amaze has been pivotal, blending technical expertise with leadership to ensure seamless VR experiences. His passion for innovation extends beyond work—his reconstruction of a 6-speed 2008 Mini Cooper S reflects his drive to build and refine.

​

Now, as he prepares to assist with this summer’s Tech Enrichment Program, Jonathan is eager to share his knowledge and enthusiasm, inspiring the next generation of tech and music enthusiasts.

WILLIAM FERRARO

As the visionary founder and CEO of Key to Amaze, William's journey from UMass Boston, through the disciplined ranks of the Marine Corps, to the innovative halls of the Sloan School of Management, exemplifies his relentless pursuit of excellence.

 

With a rich background in developing Boston real estate and cutting-edge mobile apps, William is now a fervent advocate for emerging technologies such as Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain. His creation of the Key to Amaze venue is not just a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit but also a dedicated space designed to fuel a similar passion for technology and entrepreneurship among adults and teens.

 

Beyond his professional achievements, William is an adept craftsman, tech and music enthusiast, with hands-on experiences in; rebuilding cars, motors, computers, riding motorcycles, and constructing smart homes, underscoring his belief in the power of hands-on learning and personal growth.

 

William looks forward to empowering the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs through this unique summer tech enrichment program, inviting them to explore the limitless possibilities of technology and self-discovery.

  • Session 3: July 7-11

  • Session 4: July 14-18

  • Session 6: July 28- Aug 1

  • Session 7: August 4-8

  • Session 8: August 11-15

  • Session 9: August 18-22

Times:

  • Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 3:30 PM

  • Optional Early Arrival:  8:30am-9am ($12/day)

  • Optional Extended Day: 3:30pm-5:30pm ($30/day)​

Activities: 

Engaging 45-minute classroom sessions alternate with hands-on practical application, utilizing our high-end gaming PCs and VR headsets for an immersive learning experience like no other.

Pricing:

$975 per student

Optional catered lunch $14/day (includes main course, drink and chips)

Scholarships Available:
